To arrive to newly renovated comfortable houseboat~ shout out to the skippers for helping us out & assuring helping us navigate, & assuring all is well (and for that extra trip you made to assist with some unexpected needs onboard that we didn’t pack for) you met every need and care! Truly why I’d happily recommend you 10 stars but there’s only 5 🤩 sitting here Watching a beautiful sunset on our last evening and can say we look forward to becoming returning gusts onboard Tincan Bay Houseboats. The 2.5 hour guided boat tour was amazing. We (4 adults) booked Gentleman Tom for 5 nights and we had the best time. Sam was always contactable with our list of questions and Nick did the best handover. Definitely visit their shop if you’re after any advice, support or gear to go fishing in Tin Can Bay. We are complete novices, but they were so patient and helpful…they provided us with all the gear we needed to get out on the water and give our kids the best experience ever! A private beach accessible by their boats. We caught fish and explored the bay. A genuine experience from a genuine couple. I can’t recommend them enough. We got to do some fishing and got to see dolphins. This was a huge highlight. We had our picnic on Fraser island and enjoyed swimming as the weather was brilliant. Out in the channel some more fishing and swimming off the back of the boat. Our family of 5 adults and baby had a wonderful time. Nick was great giving us lots of local knowledge and sharing his wisdom of the area. But wait there’s more. Sam and Russell the owners are just the best. They helped us pre plan our trip to ensure we had the best adventure. Then to support us they become surrogate parents and looked after our two dogs while we traveled.
